Gobble Gobble! It's Turkey Time!

It's that time of year again. Thanksgiving is upon us and soon our food comas will be too! With so many delicious recipes to choose from, how do you decide what to make for your friends and family this year? Lucky for you, we rounded up some of our favorite recipes that can also easily be made while on the road in your RV.

Cooking at the campsite or on the go can be challenging depending on the number of people you have invited and the temperatures of your environment.  A few ways to make it easier on yourself is to prepare anything you can for the meal before your leave home, or host a potluck where everyone brings a dish to contribute. Both ideas ensure you can spend more time enjoying your surroundings with friends and family.

In case you get stuck cooking the whole meal, don't worry, we've got you covered! So, sit back and get ready for mouth-watering receipes that will take it easy on your RV kitchen while also making everyone satisfied and happy.

Turkey - when you're camping for Thanksgiving, you have a few different options for cooking the main dish featured at your Thanksgiving table. Whether you want to use the convection oven in your RV, grill on an open flame or try your hand at deep-frying a Turkey, you'll end up with a delicious version of this Thanksgiving mainstay.

Mashed Potatoes - look no further than this simple and easy mashed potato recipe. Your crock pot will play a starring role in the making of this always necessary side dish. In just a few hours you'll have the delicious part of your big meal without having to even boil water first!

Vegetables - try this coconut butternut squash for a sweeter take on a vegetable side dish. Or you can go for a heartier option like the roasted stuffed squash. Make both if you have a large group! The roasted stuffed squash can even substitute for the main dish if cooking a Turkey seems like too big a task!

Salad - make the dressing ahead of time and just toss the ingredients together right before you sit down to eat for an easy side dish that falls in line with a Thanksgiving feast.

Dessert - make this decadent yet simple pumpkin cheesecake ahead of time and just take it out of the fridge one hour before you plan on eating it. Did we mention this cheesecake is a no-bake recipe which means you have more free time to hang out by the fire with your guests? Easy as pie or in this case - cheesecake! And you can always count on s'mores by the fire too!

Drinks - stay warm by the campfire with the nutella hot cocoa or the spiked pumpkin chai. Start drinking these warm and satisfying drinks as an "appetizer" course or finish the meal off with these sweet treats! Or you can just be like us and plan to sip on one througout the whole day!

The biggest takeaway here is that Thanksgiving dinner in your RV is very doable. Whether you partake in a potluck or you're cooking the entire meal yourself, we've got you covered for simple, delicious food that you can adapt for wherever you plan on celebrating Thanksgiving this year.

Stay grateful, friends! Happy Thanksgiving!!
