Feel Festive for the Fourth!

Jul 4, 2018 8:45:00 AM / by DishForMyRV

What better way to celebrate America’s Independence Day than by camping outside for the Fourth of July? Show off our nation’s pride by incorporating the colors of red, white, and blue into your decor. When spending it in the fresh outdoors, your options to decorate are endless, so why not take advantage of feeling festive in honor of the season!

The outdoors is ultimately your canvas for creativity. So why not paint the grass? If you are going to be celebrating at the campsite, make sure to ask management if it is permitted first! But if you have the luxury of celebrating on your own property, paint away and incorporate some stars and stripes while you’re at it. Use washable chalk spray paint as a temporary alternative that will wash away with just water, whether it be through a hose or rain!

Nothing screams more like the holidays than celebrating with a wreath! So why not opt for a playful wreath made solely out of solo cups? It makes for a cheap, yet creative decorative piece that you can always reuse, even past the Fourth of July.

When celebrating the Fourth, it is inevitable that food is going to be involved. Presentation is everything. So make sure that where the food is placed is just as festive as the food itself! These DIY table runners made out of red and blue bandanas and lollipop bouquet are cheap, but will make a bold statement.

Ever thought of using a kiddie pool for several purposes? Whether it being a place where kids can cool off and play, or a cooler to store beverages, it adds a practical touch to any outdoor setup!

If you are celebrating this holiday with family and friends, wouldn’t you want to capture the moment in style? The DIY American Flag backdrop initially sets the scene, where the DIY props will add patriotism to any photos taken with loved ones.

Who said celebrating our country's independence had to be stressful and costly? These DIYs will get you through the holiday in style. Now go make some memories with your family and friends for this Fourth of July!
