With Memorial Day weekend upon us, DISH For My RV would like to honor those men and women who have sacrificed their life while serving their country with a Military Appreciation Week charity promotion.

From May 22nd to May 29th, 2015 DISH For My RV will be donating $50, in memorial, to the National Veterans Foundation when you purchase a satellite antenna bundle.

The National Veterans Foundation was founded in 1985 and has helped more than 350,000 veterans and their families with crisis and information services through the nation's first toll-free, vet-to-vet hotline for all U.S. veterans and their families. The veteran counselors provide veterans and their families with information, counseling and service referrals for issues around VA benefits, mental health counseling, housing, medical services, education benefits, financial issues and more.

The founder of the National Veterans Foundation, Floyd 'Shad' Meshad has been working with Veterans since 1970. He was a Medical Service Officer during the Vietnam War, where he counseled soldiers in the field who were suffering from a multitude of psychological and emotional problems resulting from their experiences in combat, including what would later become known as 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder,' or PTSD.

Today, Meshad is one of America's most sought after experts on Combat Stress, Trauma Therapy, and the readjustment issues confronting returning soldier and their families.
