2017 is here. We hope you enjoyed a few fun RV trips in 2016. Now is the time to create your RV bucket list of all the places you want to see in 2017. Whether you go East, West, South or North there are bound to be some fun adventures in your future. Here are some of our top picks for places we think you should visit in the new year. Happy travels!

1. Grand Canyon National Park.

Do we really need to say why? It's a beautiful place for an RV vacation with 277 river miles of canyon. The South Rim of the park is open all year and the North Rim will reopen in May for the 2017 season. Learn more here.

2. Glacier National Park

Known as the "Crown of the Continent", Glacier National Park in Montana will not disappoint. It is the headwaters for streams that flow to the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and to Hudson's Bay. Absolutely beautiful. That park has 13 drive-in campgrounds, food service, stores, and its own lodging. Learn more here.

3. Finger Lakes of New York.

This is more of a road trip experience versus a one-stop trip. The lakes are slender and long, giving the region its unique name. During the road trip you can visit a wide variety of activities and destinations. There are a wide variety of options for campers and RVers. They range from remote tenting in the Finger Lakes National Forest to traditional sites by a lake in the woods to sprawling, private options with pools, RV sites, and the many parks. You can even do some Glamping. Learn more here.

4. Disney World.

OK, call us crazy but wouldn't it be fun to visit Disney World AND go RVing. It's the best of both worlds! Plus it's a good way to get the kids in the RV quick. Walt Disney World in Florida has its own campground that is RV friendly, the Fort Wilderness Resort. It covers 750 acres and has everything an RVer would want! Shuttles are available so you can set up your RV and take advantage of the shuttles to get you to and from the park. Learn more here.

5. Santa Claus, IN.

No, this isn't where Santa lives but you can enjoy a lot of things that are great about Christmas. If you stay at the Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort (KOA) you have to check out the Santa's Splash Down Water Park. Nearly everything about the park is Christmas themed. You can even visit Rudolph! Campers and RVers can also hop on a free shuttle to Holiday World, just a few minutes down the road. Learn more here.
