Eastern Time
We stream, we upload, we download, we FaceTime, we text- The list of things to do on your cell phone goes on and on, except when you don’t have any cellular signal. We get it. You’re going off the grid to completely get away from the world, to take in what the world has to offer you, and to just be in complete solitude. But what happens when you get a flat you can’t fix or your battery dies and you’re so far off the grid your cell doesn’t pick up any reception? (que dreadful music, DUN DUN DUUNNN!) This is why having a Cell Booster, whether you want to be on or off the grid, is the new black, and having no service to call for help is whack.
Have you ever gotten to your destination and realized on your cellphone where it’s supposed to show bars, it says “NO SERVICE”. The ever dreadful moment when you realize you can’t stream, you can’t upload the beautiful scenery that surrounds you, and worst of all you can’t reach out to the outside world. Which in some cases might be exactly what you were hoping for, but when it comes time to wanting or needing to reach out, this really is worse case scenario.
Memorial Day weekend is always one that’s looked forward to for many reasons. It’s the unofficial start to Summer, camping, and a long weekend away from the office, but it’s also a time to take a look back and remember those that we’ve lost and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. We here at DISH Outdoors are forever grateful for those who have given it all and we want to reflect on that while also celebrating what they gave it for. And what better way to celebrate than a long weekend with good food, good friends, and good fun?! If you’re going out to the campground this Memorial Day weekend, here’s everything you’ll need to be the life of the lot.
Have you heard about the secret group of campers who are hooking up? It’s actually kind of strange. They keep quiet about what they’re doing because they think their fellow outdoor enthusiasts are going to judge them for bringing their at home "life style" to the campground. They’re still living their best life. They’re still enjoying the great outdoors. But can we just stop judging them for wanting to catch up on last week's shows when they settle in for the night? That’s right, they’re hooking up…to DISH® and they shouldn’t be ashamed!
